Death of J. W. Campbell

Jesse Wilson Campbell, resident of Macksburg, died at his home Wednesday, January 29th at the age of 39 years. Mr. Campbell was born at Monmouth, Illinois, March 16, 1896 and came to Madison county with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Campbell in 1900.

He is survived by his parents, four brothers, Lester Clyde of Des Moines, Harvey Carl of Winterset, Lemie Melvin of Jamestown, North Dakota, and Glen E. Campbell of Macksburg. He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Brown of Osceola and Mrs. Lena Simpson of Macksburg.

Funeral services were held in the Macksburg Methodist church, Friday afternoon, January 31. They were conducted by the Rev. M. D. Summerbell and burial was made in the Macksburg cemetery.
