Death of C. F. Diser

Charles F. Diser, son of John F. and Sophia Woolhiser Diser, died at the home of his brother, J. M. Diser of near Booneville, last Saturday. He was 64 years of age. (d. Oct. 24, 1936)

Mr. Diser's parents were among the first pioneers of Madison county coming here from Illinois. He was born in Jefferson township, July 8, 1872. For most of his life he had made his home with his brother. He never married.

He is survived by his brother, J. M. Diser, and a sister, Mrs. Sarah Pritchard of Valley Junction.

Funeral services were held from the Fisher Funeral home in Van Meter in charge of the Rev. W. C. Porter, pastor of the First United Presbyterian church of Waterloo. Burial was made in the Jefferson Center cemetery.
