Mrs. Laura Myers Passed Last Wednesday at Hospital There
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ruth drove to Osceola last Friday to attend funeral services for Mrs. Laura Myers of Kansas City, Mo., whose death occurred at the Bates hospital in Osceola on Wednesday of last week.
Mrs. Myers who was a former resident of the Peru community, was 63 years of age. She was the former Laura See.
She is survived by her husband, one son and two granddaughters, all living in Kansas City; her aged father, J. H. See of Osceola; three brothers, Ralph See of Fargo, N.D., and Kenneth and Ross See of Osceola; and three sisters, Mrs. W. M. Brewer and Mrs. George Schmitt of Osceola, and Mrs. Ethel Collins of Kansas City.

Former Madison County Resident Dies in Osceola Hospital
Funeral services were conducted Friday for Mrs. Laura Myers, former resident of Madison county at two o’clock in the Miller funeral home in Osceola. She was 62 years of age. Burial was made in the Osceola cemetery.
Mrs. Myers had been ill and died at the Bates hospital there Wednesday.
Laura See Myers was born in the year 1880 at Taylor county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. See. She lived there for several years and when a young girl moved with her parents to Peru where they resided for a number of years. She was united in marriage in 1902 to Alfred See (sic) and they were the parents of one son. They made their home in Kansas City, Mo. where he was employed as an electrician.
She was a member of the Advent church and retained that membership up to the time of her death.
Besides her husband and son she is survived by her aged father who lives in Osceola, she is survived by three brothers, one of whom resides in North Dakota and Kenneth and Ralph See of Osceola, several sisters, Mrs. George See of Osceola and Mrs. Ethel Collins as well as a host of relatives and friends.
