William D. Whitlow, a native of Winterset, died Thursday, Sept. 7, at his home in San Diego, Calif. of a heart attack. He was 55 years of age.
Mr. Whitlow was born in Winterset, a son of Marion and Josephine Whitlow. He moved from here to Atlantic 25 years ago, but had been living in California for 20 years.
Surviving are his wife; five children; four sisters, Mrs. Rose Hildebrand of Winterset, Mrs. Maxine Scott, Mrs. Ladena Christensen and Mrs. Mary Tyler, all of Des Moines; and three brothers, Cecil and Wendel Whitlow of Des Moines and Lloyd Whitlow of San Antonio, Texas.
Funeral services and burial were held Monday at San Diego. Mr. and Mrs. Chris Christensen and Cecil Whitlow of Des Moines attended the services.
