Winterset, IowaSERVICES HELD FOR 3-YEAR-0LD GIRL
Funeral services were held last Wednesday, Oct. 11, from Trinity Lutheran church at Van Meter for Janice Kay Martens, 3-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred R. Martens of DeSoto. The child had died Oct. 8 at a hospital in Sioux City.
Burial was made in Trinity Lutheran cemetery.
In addition to her parents the child is survived by two brothers, Frederick and Bryan; a sister, Joyce; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Marquardt of Van Meter and Mr. and Mrs. Fred B. Martens of Winterset; and a great grandmother, Mrs. Emma Lienemann of Van Meter.
