NATIVE OF WINTERSET DIES AT DES MOINES

Mrs. Leola Jackson of Des Moines, a native of Winterset, died Sunday, Aug. 27, at a hosptial in Des Moines. She was 75 years of age. She was born in Madison county the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Noah Shearer.

Mrs. Jackson had lived 20 years at Martinsburg, before moving to Des Moines 24 years ago.

She leaves four daughters, Mrs. Minnie Withers of Des Moines, Mrs. Edith Knott of Ottumwa, Mrs. Fern Hawk of Joliet, Ill., and Mrs. Helen Miere of Agency; five sons, Gene of Des Moines, Leonard of Elbon, Verle of Batavia, Merle of Floris, and Glenn of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wesley Henry Jackson.
