MAMIE DONALDSON OF WINTERSET DIES

Death Occurred Sunday at Memorial Hospital; Aged 71 Years

Mrs. H. A. Donaldson, a life-time resident of Madison county, died Sunday, Sept. 24 at Memorial hospital in Winterset after an extended period of failing health. She was 71 years of age.

Mrs. Donaldson was the former Mamie A. Finney, daughter of H. H. and Olive VanDusen Finney. She was born in Webster township on Aug. 22, 1890. She was married March 9, 1924, to Herbert A. Donaldson of Winterset, who survives her.

She was a member of the Pitzer United Presbyterian church.

In addition to her husband, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Paul Harrell of Des Moines; a step-son, Fred I. Niblo of Winterset; a granddaughter; a sister, Mrs. W. E. Eivins of Winterset; and a brother, Gail Finney of Winterset.

Funeral services were held this Wednesday afternoon from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. John E. Fink, pastor of the Winterset United Presbyterian church. Burial was to be made in Penn Center cemetery.
