SERVICES TODAY FOR MRS. PILMER

Scott Township Resident Dies at Age of 72 Years

Mrs. George Pilmer of near Winterset died Sunday, March 12, at Memorial hospital in Winterset. She was 72 years of age.

Mrs. Pilmer was born in Madison county and spent her life here, with the exception of the years from 1913 to 1920 when she lived in South Dakota. She was the former Helen Pearl Cameron, daughter of Robert E. and Mary Ann Hircock Cameron. She was born Dec. 15, 1888.

She was married at Winterset on April 2, 1913, to George W. Pilmer, who survives her.

Mrs. Pilmer was a member of the Bethel United Presbyterian church at Winterset, taking an active part in its work.

In addition to her husband, she leaves three children, Mrs. Mary Alice Winters of Tulare, Calif., Robert Pilmer of Winterset, and Mrs. Ruth Newbury of Westminister, Colo. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and two brothers, Charles L. Cameron of Macksburg and Marion R. Cameron of Winterset.

Funeral services were to be held this Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. from the Bethel United Presbyterian church, conducted by Howard Church. Burial was to be made in the Winterset cemetery.
