Lucas M. Asher, age 2, died April 11, 2007 as a result of an auto accident near Earlham.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at the Earlham School Auditorium with burial in the Earlham Cemetery. Lucas attended the Little Explores Day Care Center in Earlham. He is survived by his father, Eric Asher of Des Moines; brother, Jacob Asher of Des Moines; grandparents, Tom and Mary Kay Badker of Dover, MN, Roger (Sharon) Asher of Des Moines and Lynn (Howell) Morsch of Earlham.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2007 at the Kuhn funeral Home in Earlham where the family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
Memorials may be directed to the Asher Family Fund at any Wells Fargo or Earlham Savings Bank locations.

Page 2Lucas Michael Asher was born the son of Eric and Tracy Badker Asher on October 17, 2004 in Des Moines, Iowa. Lucas died in an auto accident near Earlham, IA on April 11, 2007 along with his mother Tracy and brother Matthew. Lucas was 2 years, 5 months and 25 days.
Lucas attended Young Explorer Day Care in Earlham. He enjoyed going to school with his mommy, who worked at the center. Lucas was a big “Hot Wheels” fan. He also loved big trucks. He made a point to bring something to school for show and tell each day. He liked dinosaurs, camping, fishing and going to the park. Lucas loved spending time with his mommy. Tracy thought Lucas was kind of chunky so she tried calling him “Louie” and “Tuna”. The name Tuna seemed to stick so he was nicknamed Tuna.
Lucas is survived by his father Eric Asher of Des Moines; brother Jacob Asher of Des Moines; grandparents, Thomas and Mary Kay Badker of Dover, MN; Roger (Sharon) Asher of Des Moines; Lynn (Howell) Morsch of Earlham, uncle Troy (Denise) Badker of Dover, MN, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother Tracy Asher and brother Matthew Asher.
