WILLIAM BAILEY DIED LAST FRIDAY

Had Spent Entire Life on Same Farm North of Winterset

William Bailey of near Winterset died Friday, Jan. 22, at Madison county Memorial hospital in Winterset. He was 82 years of age, and had been in failing health recently.

Mr. Bailey was born Dec. 29, 1871, on the farm one and one-half miles north of Winterset where he spent his entire life. He was a son of Moses and Mary Bailey.

He was married Aug. 28, 1922, to Estella C. Shade. They were parents of two sons.

He was a member of the First Christian church at Winterset.

Surviving are his wife; the two sons, George W. Bailey and Charles E. Bailey, both of Winterset; two sisters, Mrs. Andrew Rogers of Macksburg and Mrs. Clara Eyerly of Winterset.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Richards Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Herman Rosenberger, pastor of the Winterset foursquare church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
