Winterset, IowaFORMER RESIDENT AT LORIMOR DIES
LORIMOR-Mrs. Elvira Arnold, a former resident of this community, died Sunday, Nov. 14, at community hospital in Creston. She was 82 years of age.
Mrs. Arnold lived in Lorimor for several years but moved from here about three years ago to make her home with relatives near Afton.
She was born near Weeping Water, Nebr., on Jan. 28, 1872. As a young woman she married to Ulysses Cole, after his death she married Hurles Arnold, whose death occurred in 1945.
She is survived by three sons, Everett Cole of Sheridan, Wyo., Given Cold of Los Angeles, Calif., and Clyde Cole of Portland, Ore, a daughter, Mrs. Alvin Ballard of Creston; and a brother, Monte Carter of Creston.
Funeral services were held last Wednesday from the Afton Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Crouse. Burial was made in the Afton cemetery.
