MRS. FRED LEONARD To Be Buried Here

Mrs. Jeanette Leonard, member of a formerly prominent Winterset family died at Eldora early this week, according to word received here Tuesday.

Mrs. Leonard was the widow of the late Fred Leonard, a widely-known Winterset attorney. Her husband died many years ago, and about 20 years ago she moved to California. Recently she had been making her home with a son, John Leonard. She was about 84 years old.

Her nearest surviving relatives are two sons, John Leonard of Eldora and Byram Leonard, who is an officer in the U. S. army. He was enroute home from Manilla, Philiippine islands, when the death of his mother occurred.

Funeral services will be held this Thursday at 3 p.m. from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home in Winterset, and burial will be made in the Winterset cemetery.
