MRS. EMMA MORGAN BURIED AT EARLHAM

Mrs. Emma Morgan died at Memorial hospital in Winterset Sunday, Oct. 18, at the age of 94 years.

Mrs. Morgan was a native of Dallas county, where she was born near Minburn on June 8, 1865. She was the former Emma Jones, a daughter of John and Irene Jones.

She was married May 11, 1881, to William Morgan. They were parents of two sons and two daughters.

She was a member of the Methodist church for many years; and was a life member of the Order of Eastern Star at Earlham.

Her husband and the two sons preceded her in death. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Mabel White of Des Moines and Mrs. Myrtle Hiatt of Peru; five grandchidlren; 15 great grandchildren; and 12 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held last Wednesday from the Leeper Funeral home in Earlham, conducted by the Rev. L. Willard Reynolds. Burial was made in the Earlham cemetery.

OBITUARY

Emma Jones, daughter of John Q. and Irene Jones, was born June 8, 1865, near Minburn, Iowa, in Dallas county, and passed away October 18, 1959, at the Madison County Memorial Hospital at the age of 94 years, four months, and 10 days.

She was a member of the Methodist church for many years, and attended Sunday School and church as long as her health permitted.

She was united in marriage to William Morgan on May 11, 1881. To this union were born two sons and two daughters. The husband, the two sons, and two granddaughters preceded her in death.

She was a life member of the Order of Easter Star at Earlham, Iowa.

She leaves to mourn her passing her two daughters, Mabel White of Des Moines, and Myrtle M. Hiatt of Peru, Iowa, and also five grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and twelve great great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Gone from the family circle is a kind and loving Mother.

Funeral services were held at the Leeper Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 21, with the Rev. L. Willard Reynolds officiating. Burial was in the Earlham cemetery.
