SANDRA JEAN SMITH

Sandra Jean, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Smith was born April 2, 1947 and departed this life at the Blank Memorial hospital in Des Moines, Iowa, July 1st, 1947 at the tender age of two months and 29 days.

Sandra Jean, besides the parents leaves to mourn her passing, one sister, Joyce Louise, three grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Smith of Earlham, and Mrs. Minnie Emmons of Stuart, other relatives and many friends.

Sandra Jean was not permitted to remain long in this world, but long enough to enshrine her heart and love into the lives of her loved ones. Only a rosebud that bloomed for a little while, to shed its beauty and fragrance to those near and dear to it, and then was transferred to God's rose garden in heaven fair.

Funeral services were held at the Welch funeral home on Thursday by Rev. S. R. Overholser and burial in Penn Center cemetery.
