JAMES L. THORNBRUGH DIES IN COLORADO

Veteran of Two World Wars Was Native of Madison County

James Lloyd Thornbrugh, formerly of Madison county, died April 21 at Veteran's hospital in Denver, Colo., according to word received here this week.

Mr. Thornbrugh was a veteran of both World Wars, serving in Winterset's Company A, of the Rainbow division in World War I, and with the Sixth Armored division in World War II.

He was born in this county Sept. 15, 1899, a son of James and Emily Thornbrugh.

Surviving are his wife, Lilah, of Denver; and two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Eynon of Eugene, Ore., and Mrs. Nina Wilcox of Long Beach, Calif.

Funeral services were held in Denver last Friday, and burial made in Ft. Logan National cemetery in Colorado.
