Former Resident Died Last Week in Plattsmouth, Nebraska

Charles Teel, a long-time resident of the Winterset community, died last Wednesday at his home in Plattsmouth, Nebr., as result of a cerebral hemmorrhage. He was 79 years of age.

Mr. Teel was born Jan. 18, 1879, at Rushville, Iowa, a son of Francis M. and Amanda Teel. He was married in Madison county on Nov. 25, 1903, to Ida Cooper. Her death occurred at Winterset in 1938.

Mr. Teel was a farmer during his active years. He moved to Plattsmouth in 1943 and had made his home there with a daughter, Mrs. Nellie Cowan.

In addition to Mrs. Cowan, he is survived by two sons, Clifford and Pat Teel of Des Moines; 11 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday from the Winterset Christian church, in charge of the pastor, the Rev. Robert Owens. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
