Winterset, IowaJOHN M. PERKINS DIES IN CALIFORNIA
John M. Perkins, whose early life was spent near Winterset, died Sunday, Aug. 30, at Corning, Calif. He was 71 years of age.
Mr. Perkins was a son of Edgar and Anna Belle Burris Perkins. He spent his early life on the Perkins farm west of Winterset. In 1903, with his father and three brothers, he moved to California.
He leaves his widow; two sons; five grandchildren; one brother; and a sister, Mrs. Eugene McNamara of Winterset.
