Mrs. Oscar Norris, a resident of Madison county most of her life, died March 20 in a hospital at Blackfoot, Ida., it is reported here. She was 84 years of age, and her death followed an extended illness.
Mrs. Norris was the former Rosa Ruth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Ruth. She was born in Douglas township Aug. 15, 1874, and spent her early life there.
She was married Oct. 27, 1904, to Oscar Norris. He preceded her in death. In 1952 she moved to Nampa, Ida., to live with her son, Dale, and family. In 1954 she moved to Boise.
Surviving are three children, Mrs. Zela Williams of Vale, Ore., Mrs. Erma Ham and Dale Norris of Boise. She also leaves nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Laura Lambert of California; and a brother, Robert Ruth of California.
Funeral services were held March 24 at Nampa, with burial in the Kohlerlawn cemetery there.
