A daughter was born Saturday at Wildin hospital in Des Moines to Mr. and Mrs. Merle Lane of West Des Moines, but lived only a short time.
Graveside services for the infant were held Monday at Union Chapel cemetery in this county.
The baby is survived by its parents, and by three brothers, Ralph, Leon and Ricky.
