MRS. CHARLES JONES DIED HERE MONDAY

Services This Wednesday for Life-Long Resident of County

Mrs. Charles Jones, a life-long resident of this community, died Monday, July 20, at Memorial hospital here, after many years of failing health. She was 66 years of age.

Mrs. Jones was born here June 27, 1893, a daughter of James and Barbara Guiberson.

Her husband preceded her in death in 1957. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Ray Butler, Mrs. Leslie Wood, Mrs. Merlin Hutchison, all of Des Moines, Mrs. Evelyn Jones of Peoria, Ill., and Mrs. Ray Cameron of Winterset. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. Leona Myers of Des Moines; 13 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services were to be held this Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Anderson home for funerals, conducted by the Rev. Robert A. Damon, pastor of the First Baptist church of Winterset. Burial will be made in the Winterset cemetery.
