ELMER E. NEWTON BURIED AT TRURO

Truro--(Special)--Elmer E. Newton, a long-time resident of the Truro community, died Nov. 10 at the home of his sister, Mrs. Jessie Steffin of Mt. Joy, where he had lived in recent years. He was 85 years old.

Mr. Newton was born May 27, 1861 at Dixon. He was married at Dixon to Charlotte Truax, who preceded him in death.

His only surviving near relative is his sister; his wife and a daughter, Ethel having preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held from the Kale funeral home here, and burial was made in the Truro cemetery.
