FORMER RESIDENT DIES IN IDAHO

Mrs. William Schofield, a former resident of this community, died recently at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Byrde Vandeburg of Boise, Ida.

Mrs. Schofield moved from Winterset about six years ago. Funeral services will be held here this Saturday.

MRS. WILLIAM SCHOFIELD BURIED HERE SATURDAY

Rev. Hansen Conducts Funeral Services for Former Resident

Mrs. William Schofield, whose death May 20 at the home of her daughter in Boise, Ida., was reported in last week's Madisonian, was buried here last Saturday in the Winterset cemetery. Funeral services were held Saturday from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home in charge of the Rev. Melvin Hansen, pastor of the Winterset Foursquare church.

Mrs. Schofield was born in Adams county on Feb. 12, 1867, and lived nearly all her life in Adams and Madison counties. She was married to William Schofield in 1887. He died in 1933 and for the past few years she had lived with her daughter, Mrs. J. F. Vanhull of Boise.

She was 79 years of age at the time of her death.
