Winterset, IowaFORMER LUMBERMAN HERE DIED DEC. 29
George P. Anthes, who for a number of years operated a lumber yard in Winterset, died Dec. 29 at his home in Ft. Madison, according to word received here last week.
Mr. Anthes was 83 years of age. About 1900 he operated the lumber yard here now known as the Eclipse Lumber company, selling out to the late Frank Drennan. He is survived by his wife.
