Death Occurs at Memorial Hospital at Age of 86 Years
Thomas Fee, well known resident of the St. Charles community for many years, died at Memorial hospital in Winterset, Saturday, Oct. 11. He was 86 years of age.
Mr. Fee was born at Redfield, March 4, 1866, and his early life was spent in that community. In his early business career he spent 20 years as a traveling salesman. He was associated with the Winterset Monument company in the early part of this century. About 1912 he moved to the farm near St. Charles, where he maintained his home until his death.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Walter Fee of El Cajon, Calif., Willard Fee who is serving in the U. S. Air force and is now stationed at Brentwood, England, and Vernon Fee of Dallas, Texas. He also leaves a sister, Mrs. Sarah Hall of Oakland, Calif.
Mr. Fee was a long-time member of the Odd Fellows lodge at Winterset and the Masonic lodge at St. Charles. He held a 50-year certificate in the Masons.
Funeral services will be held this Friday at 2 p.m. from the St. Charles Methodist church. Burial will be made in the St. Charles cemetery.
