Earlham, IowaWilliam J. Harrison was born in Philadelphia, Penn., February 14, 1859 and departed this life at 8:30 p.m., July 28, 1945 at Joplin, Missouri, aged 86 years, five months and 14 days.
He was united in marriage with Miss Rebecca Wilson of Earlham, Iowa. He lived in the Earlham community for several years, till the death of his wife, when he moved to Lake View, Iowa. Years later he located near Joplin, Missouri, where he continued to make his home till death.
Following the death of his wife on January 9, 1917 he was again twice married. Both of those wives and the daughter, Bernice and the oldest son, Walter have likewise preceeded him in death.
He leaves to mourn his passing three sons: Ross, of Omaha, Nebraska; Ray of Blakesburg, Iowa; and Bruce of Phoenix, Arizona; three grandsons, one granddaughter and a host of nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.
