The body of Lieut. David B. Miles, son of Mrs. Loraine Miles of Winterset, will be placed at rest in the Winterset cemetry on Friday, March 18. There will be brief graveside services, in charge of the American Legion, at 2 p.m.
Lieutenant Miles, an infantry officer, was killed in action at the Battle of Baguio, in northern Luzon, on March 29, 1945.
