Death of Mrs. Mary Tarbell

Mrs. Mary Tarbell of Winterset, a resident of Madison county for more than a quarter of a century, died at the Lutheran hospital in Des Moines, February 12. She was 66 years old.

Mrs. Tarbell was a native of Sweden. For some years she lived in Lincoln township, later moving to Winterset, where she maintained a home until the time of her death.

The only near surviving relatives were and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Hanson of Troy, New York. They were here for the funeral.

Funeral services were held Sunday from the Ramsey-Richards funeral parlors, in charge if the Methodist church. Burial at the Clarke cemetery was delayed because of the roads until Monday.
