Wednesday, March 23, 2005Greg Carter, 52, of Bevington died Feb. 15, 2005, at Winterset Care Center South.
A graveside service was held Friday, Feb. 18, at Oakdale Cemetery in DeSoto.
Greg Carter was born Jan. 21, 1953, in Ft. Campbell, Ky., to Richard M. and Mary Lou (Hartman) Carter. His marriage to Connie Nichols took place April 29, 1972, in DeSoto. Greg was a carpenter, working various construction jobs.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandfathers Art Hartman and Jack Carter.
He is survived by his wife, Connie, of Bevington; one daughter, Sarah Black of Bevington; one son, Travis Carter of Bevington; his mother, Mary Lou Johnson of Winterset; his grandmothers, Opal Huddleson and Wilma Carter, both of Winterset; and two grandsons.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
Arrangements were handled by Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset.
