Emma Hamm, member of a well known family in this community, died at her home east of Bevington Saturday, March 18. She was 85 years of age.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Nearest relatives include two nephews; John Hamm and Lester Prehn of Martensdale, and three nieces, Mrs. Helen Pyers of Des Moines, Mrs. Frances Rheison of Belle Plaine and Mrs. Esther Graham of Dexter.
Funeral services were held Monday from the Martensdale Lutheran church, and burial was made in Wick cemetery.
