FERN APPLEGATE WILSON

Old neighbors and friends of the Benton Applegate family, whose home is now at Woodlake, Nebr., will regret to hear of the death of their daughter, Mrs. Fern Wilson, who died on Dec. 5th, 1918, of influenza, at Douglas, Wyo., where she had gone to care for her husband.

The following brief sketch is from the Woodlake paper. Mrs. Wilson was born near Winterset, Iowa, March 16, 1888 to Benton and Rosalie Applegate and grew to womanhood there. Came to Wood Lake and took a homestead March 16, 1909. Was married to W. W. Wilson June l, 1916. Deceased was a member of the Church of Christ. Remains will be sent to the old home cemetery near Winterset, Iowa.
