Richard Worthing Smith

Richard Worthing Smith was born at Truro, Iowa, August 14, 1886 and departed this life at Minneapolis, Minnesota, May 9, 1934, at the age of 47 years, 8 months and 24 days. He was the son of James W. and Belle Smith. Dick, as he was usually called learned the barber trade and worked at this trade for several years.

He leaves to mourn his passing his mother, Mrs. John Worthing of Peru, two sisters, Mrs. J. W. Shearer of Peru, Mrs. C. L. Wilkinson of Winterset, two brothers Sam of Holly, Colorado, Fred of Glenrock, Wyoming and a good many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at Ebenezer cemetery Friday, May 11.
