Thomas Shaw was born in Brown county, Ohio, Feb. l0, 1838, died Feb. 2, 1914, aged 73 years, 11 months, 20 days.
He enlisted in the Civil War in 1861, and served until its close.
He united with the United Brethren church when a young man. He was united in marriage to Miss Mary Jane Brady, Feb. 10, 1869. To this union were born three children, one son and one daughter having preceded the father. He leaves to mourn his death a wife, one daughter, four grandchildren and a host of friends.

Thomas Shaw died at his home Monday night at eleven o'clock. The funeral services were held at the home Wednesday at eleven o'clock.
Interment was made in the Clark cemetery.
