Andrew Jackson Brady Dies

Andrew Jackson Brady died at his home near Winterset, Thursday, July 19th, at the age of 68 years, after an extended illness. Mr. Brady was a son of Robert and Elizabeth Stiles Brady, and was born in Gentry, Missouri, May 10, 1866. For many years he made his home with his brother, M. O. Brady and family, who formerly lived in Monroe township, for more than a quarter of a century.

He leaves three sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Thomas Brown, Washington, Mrs. Will Richardson, Galton, Missouri, Mrs. Geo. Smith of Kansas, Will Brady of Galton, Missouri, and Dave Brady of Toledo. He is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Other sisters and the brother, M. O. Brady have preceded him in death.

When a small boy, Andy, as he was known among his friends, was stricken with a fever, which left him handicapped and afflicted the rest of his life.

The Rev. W. C. Porter conducted his funeral service at the Ramsey-Richards funeral home, on Saturday, July 21, and burial was made in the cemetery, east of Macksburg.
