DEATH OF MARION CONARD

Marion Conard of Martensdale dropped dead Tuesday forenoon working on a car at his filling station. Mr. Conard was well known in the east part of Madison county.

He was born on the old Conard farm on the Winterset-St. Charles road in South township. He had resided in Martensdale for many years and took care of the Burlington and Rock Island business at the Martensdale railroad crossing.
