Beloved husband of Mrs. Nellie E. Gillespie; brother of Bergin Gillespie, Mrs. Lillie Ingle, Mrs. Pearl Parhm, Nathan Gillespie, Mrs. Ethel Jones, Mrs. Dessie Duckett, Clinton and Lewis Gillespie.
Services 10 a.m. Monday in the Little Church of the Flowers, Forest Lawn-Glendale, Forest Lawn Mortuary.

Word has been received here of the death of James Gillespie at his home in Glendale, California last Thursday of a heart attack. Mr. Gillespie, who was 63, is survived by his wife, the former Nellie Wight who formerly lived in Madison County.
Funeral services were held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale Monday morning.
Mrs. Ward Wight of Winterset, Clair Wight of Murray and Gayle Wight of Rock Island, Illinois left by plane Saturday to attend the services.
