Death of Orville F. Davis

On Saturday, Dec. 28, Orville Frederick Davis died at the age of 36 years of pneumonia, following two weeks illness with influenza. He lived with his brother, John on the Cornell farm between Winterset and Patterson.

Funeral services were held Monday at the U. B. church, conducted by Rev. Jackson Giddens. Burial took place in the U. B. cemetery, north of Winterset.
