Death of Mrs. J. H. Potter

The death of Mrs. J. H. Potter occurred recently at her winter in Eustis, Florida. She had but lately come from spending several months with her sons, W. P. and John Potter, living at Swathmore, Pa., and although not in very good health owing to her advanced age-86 years-she had been as well as usual. After dinner, she retired to her room, where she was found dead soon afterward. Mrs. Potter was the widow of the late Rev. J. H. Potter, pastor of the Presbyterian church at Winterset from 1870 to 1883. Old time residents of Winterset who will recall this splendid woman's influence and charm, will learn of her death with regret.
