WILLIAM WEEKS DIES AT 90 YEARS

Funeral Services Conducted Here Tuesday; Burial in Nebraska.

William E. Weeks, a resident of Winterset since 1951, died at Madison county Memorial hospital here Saturday, May 18. He was 90 years of age.

Mr. Weeks was born in Madison county on Jan. 19, 1867, a son of William H. and Mary Davis Weeks. He was married at Shickley, Nebr., on Nov. 8, 1901, to Grace L. Beach. Her death occurred in 1946.

His early life was spent as a farmer in Madison county. He spent several years for his health in Colorado Springs, Colo., going from there to a ranch in southeastern Colorado. From there he moved to a farm in Arkansas. He returned to Winterset in 1954.

He is survived by two brothers, Clyde and Henry Weeks of Colorado Springs, Colo., and three sisters, Alta Tilton Seward of Muskogee, Okla., and Blanche Powers and May Pinckney of Winterset.

Funeral services were held from his home in Winterset Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. George DeF. Fisher, pastor of the Winterset Presbyterian church. Burial was made at Shickley, Nebr.
