Glen E. McKinney, age 42, passed away at Clarkson Hospital, Omaha, Nebraska, on November 16, 1966 following heart surgery. He was born October 8, 1924 near Peru, Iowa, the son of Earnie U. McKinney and Marie Petersen McKinney.
He is survived by his mother and numerous other relatives – his father passing away in 1929.
Glen was well loved by his relatives and many friends for his thoughtfulness and cheerfulness.
Funeral services were held from the Roland Funeral Home, Atlantic, Iowa at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 19, with graveside services at 2:00 p.m. at Blair Chapel Cemetery, St. Charles, Iowa. The Rev. H. F. Huseth officiated. Music was by Mr. and Mrs. Dale Pauley.
Pallbearers were: Kenneth Bock, Godfred Hansen, Donald Rold, Floyd Petersen, Leo Mardeson and Elmer Hansen.
