MRS. LUELLA TIDBALL SUCCUMBS AT ST. CHARLES

Funeral Rites Held Last Friday From United Presbyterian Church

St. Charles--(Special)--Mrs. Luella Tidball died last Wednesday at the home of her sister here, Mrs. Laura Young. She was 75 years of age and had been in failing health for the past several years.

For two years Mrs. Tidball had made her home in Indianola with her sister, Mrs. Leila McCulley, but last fall both sisters came to the home of Mrs. Young here.

Mrs. Tidball is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Eva Dyer of Indianola and Mrs. McCulley and Mrs. Young; and two brothers, J. B. Weede of Des Moines and I. C. Weede of Los Angeles, Cal.

Funeral services were held Friday from the United Presbyterian church, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Baird, assisted by the Rev. M. Todd McDonald of Indianola. Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.

Mrs. Luella C. Tidball died last Wednesday evening at the home of her sister, Mrs. Laura M. Young, where she had been making her home for the past year.

Luella C. Weede was born in Illinois October 5, 1863, coming with her parents to Jackson township, Warren county in 1867. She was a teacher in the Warren county schools several years before she married Mr. Tidball in 1891. Mr. Tidball died in 1924 at Sweedesburg, Mo., where he is buried.

Funeral services were held last Friday afternoon in the United Presbyterian church conducted by her pastor, Rev. J. M. Baird and interment was made in the St. Charles cemetery by the side of her parents.

She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Laura M. Young of St. Charles, Mrs. Eva Dyer and Mrs. Leila McCully of Indianola, and two brothers Irwin of Los Angeles, Calif., and Joseph Browne Weede of Des Moines.
