RITES HELD LAST FRIDAY FOR CLARENCE V. LITTLE

World War Veteran's Death Occurred on Highway Last Wednesday

Funeral services for Clarence V. Little, who died in the automobile accident at Patterson on Wednesday of last week, were held from Anderson's home for funerals last Friday. The Rev. J. H. Cochrane, Jr., pastor of the Baptist church, officiated at the rites. Burial was made in the Sayre cemetery near Hanley.

Mr. Little was a life-long resident of Madison county. He was a World war veteran, having served in that conflict with the 88th division. He was 44 years of age at the time of his death.

Mr. Little was born Jan. 28, 1895, near Winterset, the son of Thomas and Sarah Frances Little. On Nov. 20, 1920, he was married to Geneva Addy. They were the parents of five children.

He is survived by his parents; his wife; the children: Vernon, Harold, Ruth Arlene, Donald and Myrna; three brothers: Russell, Laurel and Virgil Little; and two sisters: Mrs. Inez Darnell and Mrs. Opal Walters; all of Winterset.
