Francis Etta McKinney, daughter of William and Martha (Cornman) Peacock, was born in Schuyler Co, IL Oct 27, 1879 and died Jan. 15 in Broken Bow at the age of 74 years.
In 1895, she was married to Marion Summerfield Trotter and to this union were born four children. Mr. Trotter died in 1912 and in 1922, she married Alvin McKinney. He also preceded her in death in 1941.
She is survived by her children: Carrie Kindness of Oregon; Mrs. Lee McCammon of Lexington; Mrs. Agnes Molgard of Gody, VA; and Claude Trotter of Washington, two sisters, three brothers, four grandsons and one great-grandson.
Funeral services were held in the Schneringer-Johnson Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Jan 19 with the Rev Albert Monkman of the Broken Bow Methodist church in charge. Mrs. Allan Black furnished the music with Mrs. Ralph Thompson at the organ. Pallbearers were Andy Gobel, Floyd Trotter, Jim Fair, Bill Seeger, Fred Krichman, and Claris Allen. Burial was in the Broken Bow Cemetery.
