Miss Myrtle Potter is Gone

Miss Myrtle Potter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Potter passed away, Tuesday evening at about 8 o'clock. Over a year ago she contracted pulmonary tuberculosis which gradually ravaged her health, finally to bring the sadness of death upon the family.

Myrtle graduated in the class of 1911 and just two years ago joined in the activities of the merry commencement season. The death of youth is the saddest tragedy of all. We bow to the natural law of decay and dissolution, but it is sometimes hard to understand why a young life should be ended and the grief of eternal separation enter a happy family circle. We can only have faith in that Infinite Wisdom which knows the way that is best.

(Buried in the Earlham Cemetery. Born 5-14-1892; Died 6-3-1913).
