STEVEN CRAIG COUCH, Churchville

Steven Craig Couch, 58, passed away at his home in Churchville on Saturday, February 24, 2007.

Steven was born to James and Josephine Couch on March 7, 1948, in Patterson, IA. Steven graduated from Martensdale St. Marys High School. He worked several years on oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico and then retired from Titan Tire, Inc. He is survived by daughters, Bernadette (Brent) Privat of Olathe, KS and Stephanie Couch of Des Moines, IA; four grandchildren; mother, Josephine Couch of Topeka, KS; sisters, Bev (Lee) Reinholdt, Pam (fiance, Dave) Schmidt, Angie (Paul) O'Mara; brother, Jim (Myrna) Couch; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Buddy. He was preceded in death by his father, James and brother, Randy. He enjoyed nature and the simple things in life. According to his wishes, Steve was cremated and no services are planned.

A Celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 3, at Church of the Assumption Hall in Churchville.
