Hannah Landis was born in Ohio, July 5, 1842 and died in Winterset, Feb. 13, 1912. She was married on Jan. 23, 1862 to Henry H. Andrews who died in 1909.
They came from Indiana to Iowa in 1868 and to Madison county in 1888. Her death resulted from Bright's disease, complicated with organic heart trouble. Children and kind neighbors ministered to her during her short final illness. Five children and 11 grandchildren survive her. Those present at the funeral were Mrs. Effie Davis of Tipton, L. H. Andrews of Clearfield and Arthur J. Andrews and Mrs. Maggie Taylor of Winterset, also five grandchildren.
Services were held at the home on Thursday, Rev. Walburn of the Methodist church officiating. Interment was made in the McDonald cemetery in Jefferson township by the side of her husband.

Page 1Mrs. H. H. Andrews died at her home on East Washington street, at six o’clock Tuesday morning. The funeral will be held from the home on Thursday, probably at 11 o’clock, and burial in the McDonald cemetery.
The deceased had been in ill health for some time, her death being the result of Bright’s disease.
She leaves two sons, and two daughters, Maggie, Mrs. V. F. Taylor and Arthur reside here, L. H. Andrews resides at Clearfield and is publisher of the Clearfield Enterprise.
