Caleb Darnell Dies in Des Moines

Caleb E. Darnell died at the home of his son, Alva Darnell in Des Moines yesterday. He was past 77 years of age and has been in poor health for some time. The immediate cause of his death was heart failure.

He is survived by two sons, Alva and Harvey and two daughters, Mrs. N. E. DeFord of Des Moines and Mrs. Anah Willy of Davenport. The funeral services were held in Des Moines today and the body will be brought here for burial.
