FLORENCE RATLIFF RITES AT MACKSBURG

Funeral services were held last Wednesday from the Macksburg Methodist Church for Mrs. Florence Ratliff, whose death had occurred March 6.

Mrs. Ratliff was a long-time resident of the Macksburg community. She was the former Florence L. Green, daughter of Henry C. and Susan Jane Green, and was born near Council Grove, Kansas, on Dec. 22, 1878. She was 81 years of age at her death.

She lived in Kansas until her marriage to Albert Ratliff in 1906, when she came to her home south of Macksburg, where she lived as long as her health permitted. Her husband died in 1949.

She leaves a daughter, Mary, of Lorimor, and two nieces and a nephew in Kansas.

Note: Burial was in Moon Cemetery.
