MRS. T. C. MOORE, 65, OF WINTERSET DIES

Mrs. T. C. Moore, a life-long resident of this community, died Thursday, Nov. 5, at a Winterset Nursing home. She was 65 years of age.

Mrs. Moore was the former Varetta Ruth, daughter of John and Nancy J. Ruth. She was born in Douglas township on June 16, 1888. She was married Sept. 15, 1916, to Ray R. Silcott. They were parents of one son, Richard F. Silcott. The husband and father died in 1920.

On Sept. 14, 1927, she was married to T. C. Moore. His death occurred in 1945.

In early life Mrs. Moore had united with the First Presbyterian church of Winterset.

In addition to her son, she is survived by three grandsons; five step-children, Everett Moore of Independence, Ore., Mrs. Dulcie Carter of Macksburg, Mrs. Julie Gordon of Winterset, Mrs. Ethel Epperson of Des Moines and Jerry Moore of Macksburg; and 19 step-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Anderson home for funerals, in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Lee Kivett. Burial was at Indianola.
