Catherine Mary Noga, 60, of Erie, Ill., died Nov. 28, 2005, at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, Ill.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at Assumption Catholic Church in Churchville. The family will receive friends during visitation from 5-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, at Ochiltree Funeral Service in Winterset. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Churchville.

Catherine Noga was born Aug. 10, 1945, in Winterset to Joseph and Veronica (Harkin) Bell. Her marriage to Thomas Noga took place on April 6, 1968, at the Assumption Catholic Church in Churchville. In January of 2005, Catherine retired as the Erie, Ill., postmaster. She previously was employed as postmaster at Hillsdale, Ill. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Erie, Ill., and a certified Master Gardener.

She was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas, of Erie, Ill.; one daughter, Mary Theilen of Sun Prairie, Wis.; four sons, John Noga of Northridge, Calif., Robert Noga of Prole, David Noga of Urbandale and Michael Noga of Hamilton, Ohio; her mother, Veronica Bell of Prole; four sisters, Therese Eldred of Apple Valley, Minn., Lucille White of St. Charles, Loretta Foley of Winterset and Barbara Shutt of Grimes; four brothers, Joseph Bell of Cascade, Thomas Bell of Norwalk, and Patrick Bell and Robert Bell, both of St. Charles; and seven grandchildren.
