FUNERAL THURSDAY FOR BOB MCDONALD

Long-Time Madison County farmer Died On Tuesday

Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. from Richards Funeral home here for Robert Lewis McDonald, a life-long resident of Madison county.

Mr. McDonald died July 28 at the Madison County Memorial hospital in Winterset. He was 76 years of age.

The son of William and Barbara Combs McDonald, he was born March 24, 1877 on a farm near Winterset. On Feb. 8, 1905 he was married to Ida Oldham of this county.

Until recent years, when he moved to Winterset, Mr. McDonald farmed in Douglas township.

He is survived by his wife, one brother, Wallace McDonald of Winterset; and three sisters, Mrs. Corgie Bennett, Mrs. Mary Kitchell and Mrs. Edna Clark, all of Winterset.

Officiating at the services this Thursday will be Dr. S. C. Pickens of the United Presbyterian church here. Burial will be in the Winterset cemetery.
